Jessica Opfer-Bechthold is an award-winning artist. She has done all kinds of different art. While she holds a minor degree in studio art, Jessica’s real love is watercolor. Really exploring watercolor as medium in 2009, when she dived deep into studying it. Art has always been a very important part of Jessica. Every one of her paintings tells a story. She loves to paint in the season when the image naturally takes place. She has discovered that the light and colors change with the seasons. She loves to capture the mood of the season in her work. Nature is a place where Jessica finds much peace. She loves to paint from nature the way that it was intended. To put herself in a place to paint, she loves painting where there is beautiful natural light, aromas in the air and peaceful nature sounds playing. She’s has also been known to paint while listening to opera music for hours. Usually with a warm cup of tea served in a teacup and saucer next to her as she paints. She has been known for her use of bright colors and feelings that her paintings create. Through the art community she has been known as a whimsical watercolorist. She loves painting as it helps her to return to her inner child. She is in deep gratitude for all the support and love they give her
